Pre-Showing Checklist For Sellers
So your home has been listed for sale- that's great!   As you gear up for showings to start, it may be hard to remember pre-showing your to-do list! Lucky for you I have made a handydandy checklist! ->Feel free to print this list out for future use, or save this page in your web browser or short-cuts list for quick reference!   -Put all the toilet seats down, hang clean towels, fluff bath mats -Open all the drapes and window shades -Open all the doors between rooms -Turn on all the lights, including lamps -Turn off the TV -Look around for clutter, clear away papers, magazines, ETC. -Clean kitchen counters from unnecessary items (store the small appliances), put dirty dishes away. -Take the trash out. -If you have pets put up food and clean litter area -Make sure beds are all made & clothes are picked up -Sweep / vacuum floors -Remove any personal photos from fridge -Hide outdoor toys & garbage bins in garage or on side of the house. -Grab a basket & put personal items in trunk of car -Take pets with you, or drop them at a friends house or doggy day care for the day -Go to the park, grocery store or a friend's house until the showing is over. If you have cameras/Ring Door bell- try not to watch! -Stay clear of STRONG scented candles or air fresheners. They can aggravate allergies or create a sense of covering up or masking issues.   Great job! Michelle was born and raised in Alabaster, Alabama, and has lived in the Birmingham Metro Area for most of her life. Having lived in both Jefferson and Shelby county, she has deep understanding of their housing markets, and what makes each area unique. 
Michelle earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Montevallo in 2017. After college, she spent some time working as a teacher at an Outdoor Education camp for children in Mentone, Alabama. Her time in Mentone gave her knowledge and experience in the area that one can only gain from being a local. Since becoming a Realtor, Michelle has been able to help several clients purchase both forever homes, and investment properties in Mentone and the Fort Payne area. 
Michelle's calm demeanor and problem-solving skills are only the tip of the iceberg in what makes her a good Realtor.
